Miss Elizabeth may be returning!
I found out from Elizabeth's medical foster mom yesterday that they are planning to release Elizabeth from medical foster care sometime the end of June. The kids' case manager supervisor was out to visit us yesterday but didn't know anything about it. Elizabeth has an appointment on the 21st with a craniofacial surgeon/specialist. That appoinment will tell Children's Medical Services more about her future treatment. If she needs surgery or many appointments on the East coast of Florida, she may stay where she is longer. Also, there is another hearing on the 26th regarding their mom's request for reunification. Not excited about them going back to a situation that I know isn't great or even good for them but I do know it is out of my hands. I will update everyone as I hear more. No one seems to know anything certain, as usual!

hey! so odd! i read this post and remember responding, but just got on to see what's new and see this post but no comments.... you are an amazing person, Tanya.. whatever happens with John and Elizabeth, you have to know that you gave them your all -- and that they felt that, at ways they may never be able to describe -- but i truly believe they will seek out energy like yours as they move ahead in life --- it may be hard for them to do so and to find it amidst the other bags they'll be carrying in life due to a challenging system of "child welfare" --- but it's there, in them. and it's all because of you. I hope you are well and think of you often and hope we can talk soon.
