They tried to dump us at the train station again

After a long journey here we met up with a new mom I have been chatting with on my infertility site since last spring. They arrived here over the weekend with their adorable boy, Owen! We had dinner together last night at the hotel. At 9:00 Moscow time Don and I crashed for the night, that is until at about 11:45 our phone rings and it is our translator calling to tell us he will pick us up at 12:30-1 for the train station. I said no, that isn't right supposed to be 4 or 5:00. We told him we will make our own arrangements to get there later. So I took a second Ambien at midnight and fell back asleep. We awoke at 9:40 a.m. Moscow time, I was startled. So now we have arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station. Don is heading out in a bit with my friend, Kelli to see a couple of sites and I am staying here to answer phones and make sure all of the families have transport to the train station which our translator should have taken care of but not left us there for 5 hours again!

What a frustrating situation with your driver. It's crazy for them to expect you to sit there for hours on end. Hopefully you get to the train station without any other troubles. Choo-choo!!!

tried to call Brynn on Sunday for an update..you are on my mind all the time. Such a happy thought, you knowing you are bringing home such an unbelievable gift! I will tell you the same thing I tell Erin and Amy which is, be so happy that I don't live near or I would be stopping by for a pinch and a sniff every day! Can't wait to hear that you are at the orphanage with him in your arms! love bell

You go girl. How ridiculous. It's BS like that that just drives you crazy about this whole thing, right?

Agency told us today that they won't do anything but expedited visas despite the 2+ weeks that we have to receive them.

I'm glad you had the nerve to go "against" the flow!
